Leave early Saturday morning and work our way down to Manteo for a visit to the waterfront and the museums, ships and shops located there.  A great dinner on the waterfront at the 1587 Restaurant and a restful night at The Tranquil House Inn.  Leave after breakfast on Sunday and work our way over the the Lake Mattamuskett Wildlife Refuge for a short commune with nature. May 1-2, 2010 - Opening of the Bluffs Lodge Depart early Saturday and head up to the parkway whichever way suits us that morning.  The Bluffs Lodge reopens this weekend so bring your long johns and plan to sit out in front of a roaring fire on the patio after enjoying some Wild Cherry Jam at the Bluffs Restaurant. March 20-21 - Bentonville, NC - 145th Anniversary of the Battle of Bentonville (This could be worked in with the Sunday ride on the 21st) July 24-Aug 1, 2010 - AirVenture Oshkosh Enjoy a ride up through WV and Ohio on the way to the EAA AirVenture Show in Oshkosh Wisconsin.  No set scehdule yet - contact the gang if you are interested in lodging in Oshkosh during the show.  We plan to be there when the show opens on the 26th and will probably leave Wednesday and find a cool route to work our way back home by Sunday.
